August Update
The Board and the Electronic Voting Committee (EVC) have accomplished several goals since the last update:
At the most recent Board meeting, Election Buddy was selected as the online voting system to support our upcoming election of Board Directors.
A Nominating Committee has been formed to assist with identification and selection of candidates interested in serving our community as Board Directors.
An insert was included in the most recent newsletter offering information about the electronic voting process.
Heather and Priscilla are actively working to update our member contact information in order to ensure that every homeowner is kept informed of the upcoming voting process and election.
The web page has been updated and consolidated to make browsing easier and more informative for the homeowner.
The EVC meets virtually, and interested homeowners are encouraged to attend. Contact the EVC for upcoming meeting details.

The Election Voting Committee (EVC) is pleased to announce that the BSW Board of Directors approved all five recommendations presented at the July 8, 2026 BSW monthly Board meeting. These approved recommendations represent important steps toward modernizing and simplifying the election process for our community.
The Board approved the following:
Implementation of electronic voting for future community elections
Elimination of proxy voting
Elimination of in-person voting at Annual Meetings
Election of Board Officers by the elected Board members
Modification of quorum requirements to allow electronic votes to count toward quorum
The EVC is now preparing informational materials to help homeowners understand these changes and what to expect moving forward. These materials will be shared at the upcoming Town Hall meetings.

Electronic voting provides a fair, secure, and efficient election process. Removing proxies and in-person voting reduces confusion, streamlines vote counting, and helps deliver timely, accurate election results.
Every homeowner will be able to cast a secure electronic ballot during the voting period from any computer, tablet, or smartphone, and assistance will be available for those who need it.
Tabulation will be done prior to the meeting, eliminating the need for in-person voting.
